Link Alarm Maintenance WIndow Nov 20/21

The Link Alarm reports server will be unavailable for required maintenance starting late afternoon Friday Nov 20th (US Eastern Standard Time). We will be getting Link Alarm back up later that night, but there may be additional related  outages going into Saturday. This maintenance is for stability, compatibility and performance improvements.

During maintenance any running or pending reports will be stopped, but will be restarted after maintenance is complete.

Thank you for your patience while we keep Link Alarm working well. We will be quickly back creating the Link Check reports so your sites can be at their best too.

I'm sorry to report that we'll be closing the LinkAlarm service in early 2022. After 23 years of operation, 11 under current ownership, it's time for this owner move to other opportunities. It's been great with you and wish you every success in the future. You're welcome to continue using your account until we shut down, probably January 2022.

But wait! Maybe you could be the new owner/operator of Link Alarm. We are open to selling Link Alarm assets and virtual machine that runs the checking service. If you depend heavily on Link Alarm perhaps you would would want to purchase an instance for in-house use.

For an entrepreneurial individual there are opportunities to build upon the solid base that Link Alarm provides. Dress-up the user interface and explore other options like selling Link Alarm as a licensed enterprise service, an open source product or a mobile application.
